I just received an email from CrushLink.com today from "A Secret Admirer"... I have to admit that I was somewhat intrigued by the prospect, that is until I visited the CrushLink.com website. After reading the website I realized that this is simply a pyramid scheme designed to play on people's basic curiosity and trick them into signing up for tons of spam while CrushLink.com profits off of selling your information to other companies... This pisses me off!

Furthermore, I have decided that the person who donated my email address to this spam database must fall under one or more of the following categories:

• They don't have a crush on me, but they are entering my name thinking that it could be me.
• They don't have a crush on me, and are simply trying to enter more email addresses so that they can get hints about their crush.
• They have a crush on me, and mistakenly thought that I would actually offer up the email addresses of others to a third party. WRONG!!!
• They have a crush on me, and have grossly endangered their chances with me by giving my email address out to a third party without my permission.
• They have a crush on me, and did not realize that it's a major turn-off when someone can't grow up and knock off the 3rd grade antics when they are interested in me. I'd like to think we outgrew these childish games in middle (or even high) school.

The moral of the story is that the person who did this had better fess up or give it up. Here's your chance right now to send me a real email at jon@CubanJon.com where you will be able to tell me which of the above applies to you.
